Culture of Innovation
Ravenswood Solution’s (Ravenswood) culture of innovation has enabled us to design technology and delivery mechanisms that scale on demand, including:
- Time-Space-Position-Information (TSPI) solutions that yield submeter position and 0.25 degree azimuth accuracy in support of ultra-realistic Real-Time Casualty Assessment (RTCA)
- Multi-layer TDMA network that supports up to 65,000 live entities anywhere you go
- Open-architecture, data-agnostic multimedia engine with whole earth display & control
- Modular software ‘constellation’ that operates in part or in whole as required
Our experience, people, and access to world-class research and development have set Ravenswood apart as we continue to expand our core technologies and services into more domains, both at home and abroad.

Capabilities
Ravenswood is proud to offer capabilities that result from collaborative research and development projects with both our clients and our parent company, SRI International. As new field requirements evolve, Ravenswood stands ready to develop cutting-edge solutions for collective training, test and evaluation, policy analysis, performance assessment, and operations.

Local Data Storage Module (LDS) ×
The Ravenswood local data storage module (LDS) records data when a robust communications network is not available. The LDS is used when jamming or interference are expected or it can be used entirely independently of a communications network when live data feeds are not required and cost-savings are paramount. Modular Augmented Reality Tracking Equipment for Observers (MARTE-O) ×
Indispensable, Life-Saving Training
In partnership with Lockheed Martin and SRI International, Ravenswood Solutions is pioneering an Augmented Reality (AR) capability to transition observers from classroom Virtual Reality (VR) simulators to personnel-worn AR devices that are hardened and designed for repeated field-use. The system was developed for the Office of Naval Research on behalf of the US Marine Corps.
This technology can be used anywhere in the world and substantially lowers training costs by simulating vehicles, aircraft, and munitions. AR eliminates the boundaries of ranges, aircraft and munitions availability, and weather. With AR, troops can train wherever and whenever they want.
Solar Power System ×
Sustainable and Expeditionary Energy
Ravenswood's Solar Power System is transportable and self-sustaining. It is ideal for remote radio relay sites that are inaccessible for regular maintenance. Request more information.
Geo-Pairing ×
A step up from laser
Legacy laser systems require a clear line of sight to target in order to record impact, they cannot record the location of missed shots, and they do not take into account bullet trajectory. Our optically-based solution defies these barriers. Request more information.
Alternate Frequency Module (AFM) ×
Enabling use for foreign and civil applications
The alternate frequency module (AFM) is a clip-on module for the FREDI-2 tracking device. Once installed, it enables the 1370 MHz band radio. Request more information.
GPS-Denied Tracking ×
A look to the future
Ravenswood, in concert with SRI International, is developing an optically-based system to track entities in GPS dead-zones, such as underground buildings and parking structures. This capability will provide real-time data about an entity's indoor location without requiring instrumentation hardware to be installed in the building. This will greatly reduce exercise set-up costs and potentially enable operational tracking of entities when they enter unmapped structures. Request more information.
