Ravenswood Solutions Announces $41.7 Million XCTC Contract Award
First major award represents bright company future
Menlo Park, Calif. – March 28, 2016 — The Department of the Interior has awarded a sole source contract for the Army National Guard’s eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) program to Ravenswood Solutions.
The contract will have a potential value of $41.7 million and will provide planning, operations, sustainment, and technology insertion support services for the XCTC program through September 21st, 2016. Army National Guard training units from California, Hawaii, Mississippi, Indiana, and Texas are expected to be served by this program in 2016.
The XCTC program is a cost-effective, time-efficient option for delivering combat readiness training to Soldiers at or near their home stations, in accordance with the Army National Guard’s collective training strategy and the Army Force Generation model. The Army National Guard has used the XCTC program since 2008 to train 59 combat and functional brigades and over 82,000 Soldiers at 22 different locations nationwide.
The previous prime contractor for the XCTC program was SRI International, parent company of Ravenswood Solutions. This contract represents the first major contract award to the newly formed subsidiary.

An estimated 16,500 Army National Guard Soldiers are expected to be trained through the XCTC program in 2016.
